Gutters: Issue #368 – Carlos Gomez

From: The Gutters

Oh, what a different world it might have been.

One of the things we wanted to explore more of with Gutters in 2013 was guest writers. We had a lot of fun working with the likes of Gail Simone and Mark Waid on pages last year, and so we thought why not see how many more of our friends we can exploit? So, from time to time expect to see some big names that have put words to panel gracing the top of our pages.

This is of course not to say that Sohmer is slacking on the writing duties. No, he’s got more ideas than ever (most of them illegal or not psychologically possible, but they are there) and bringing them to light is going to be even more fun (for example, have you seen this?) as we get back into the swing of things here at Gutters.

I swear, this is our first week back at 3 updates, but it feels like we never stopped. Which feels very, very good.

So with that being said we are joined today by Gentleman, , Scholar, Gadabout and guest writer Fred Van Lente:

Fred Van Lente is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Marvel Zombies, Incredible Hercules (with Greg Pak), Odd Is On Our Side (with Dean R. Koontz), as well as the American Library Association award-winning Action Philosophers. His original graphic novel Cowboys & Aliens (co-written with Andrew Foley) is the basis for the major motion picture starring Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford. Van Lente’s other comics include The Comic Book History of Comics, Taskmaster, Archer & Armstrong, Amazing Spider-Man and Hulk: Season One.

And as if that wasn’t enough, today’s art duties were performed by the talented Calos Gomez:

Carlos Gomez is a spanish artist and mainly comic penciller who has worked on projects such as “Spectacular Spider-Man” for Marvel UK, “Unbeatable”, “Ferrous Bloom”, “Black Lotus Empire” and covers for “PathFinder #7-8”.

Have a great weekend, my friends! We will see you back here Monday!
